LET’S MAKE IT SPEAKABLE.

You can love someone

You can be curious about something you don’t fully understand. You can be starting over, finding your voice, or wondering what you want now.

There’s room for all of that here. Start with a resource, a conversation, or a little support.

03 / WHEN YOU WANT SOME SUPPORT

You don’t have to find
all the words alone.

I’m Anna, a therapist and the person behind Meridian Ascent. My work centers on intimacy, identity and relationships—and helping people make difficult things speakable.

We can talk about desire that’s changed, questions you haven’t said out loud, relationship patterns, or what it means to feel more like yourself.

Therapy
Individuals, couples and relationship systems in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Relationship & intimacy coaching
Available nationwide. Coaching is distinct from therapy and does not replace mental health treatment.

A welcoming space across sexual identities and consensual relationship structures.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Start wherever you are.

Do I need to be in a relationship?

No. You can use the resources on your own, and you can seek support as an individual. Understanding your own desires and boundaries is a worthwhile place to begin.

Is this only about kink?

No. Intimacy includes communication, closeness, identity, desire and the way you relate to yourself and others. The guide and checklist offer a focused starting point for curiosity about kink.

Are my checklist answers sent to Anna?

No. Before We Play has no submission form or answer database. Answers stay in the page unless you choose to save on your device, download a file or share a summary. Downloaded and shared files are not encrypted by the tool.

Can we fill it out separately and compare?

Yes. Each person completes their own copy, chooses which sections to include, and downloads a partner file. You can open each other’s files in the tool to compare. Shared interests are conversation starters, never permission.

How do I ask about working together?

Use the Meridian Ascent contact page to get in touch. You can ask about therapy in Vermont or New Hampshire, or relationship and intimacy coaching nationwide.
